Sometimes it is the little things...

Here you can see where they have painted the siding on the front.  We are in LOVE with the color.  Don't worry, the door isn't painted yet.

Attic access

Pull down attic access.

This doesn't seem like a big step in the construction process, but Christian is excited about it.  You see, for nearly seven years he had to enter the attic in our house in Loretto through a tiny hole (about the size of two shoe boxes side by side) without a ladder.  The hole was locate in the top of Felix's VERY cluttered closet.  You might say, "Why even get in the attic?"  Well.  When you live in a very old house sometimes things just go wrong and you don't have a choice.  Now I may find him sitting in the attic just for fun.  Because he can.
