We have footers! It really helps to put the size of the basement in perspective. The other day, when it was just a giant hole it seemed so small. My brother-in-law reminded me that I wasn't comparing it to another basement. I was comparing it to the entire great outdoors. Yes, it did seem small. Now it seems perfect. As we were walking back up our new driveway tonight, we were talking about how this was going to be the perfect driveway to ride bikes up and down. It is going to be a magical place to grow up. I'm so happy for my boys.
